Many thanks in advance. Please help. We have recently purchased Backup EXEC and HP Ultrium LTO6 along with 40 Catridges(6TB)
Currently, I prepared a schedule to have :
2 differential backups ( noon at 12PM and evening at 7PM, daily). Evening catridge is intended to store offsite. Keeps 4 weeks data.
1 Full backup on every Friday - Stored offisite
Problems I see are:
The differential backups taking lots of time and I scheduled to the evening/offsite backup to after-office hours and we have to wait until the backup is finished( it takes sometes 2 or 3 hours to backup 700+GB)
How to easily(not barcode) lable the Catridges( I have 40 Catridges) ?
For information, I intend to use Catridges like below. Please correct me:

Please help/suggest/correct me if anything is dump/wrong in what I am following. I would like have a a safe, standard backup options and also always-ready/available disaster recovery. Please help.
