Need to understand how to backup VMs

We are moving from a single physical Dell server that is a domain controller running Windows server 2003, Exchange server 2003 and BE 11.5 to a new Dell T420 that is going to run Hyper-V host and 2 Windows server 2012 VMs, one as a DC/file server and the second running Exchange 2013. The server will have an LTO 4 tape drive hooked up for off-site backups. How do I use Backup Exec to backup this environment? Thanks, Vito.
