Very Slow Backup Transfer Rate...

I need a solution
Hello all,

I really need your professionad advice here:
I just implemented an Exchange 2010 DAG backup but it's not working as expected. Let me give you the architecture of my environment:

1 Master server, 2 media servers(16 GB RAM, Duo core each, Gigabit NICs on server and switch) all having 3 networks: A, B & C

2 Exchange servers (32 GB RAM, Duo core each Gigabit NICs on server and switch) having 2 networks: A (for DAG name), B (for MAPI) and D (for DAG replication/seeding)

Please note my choice of alphabets : A on both sides means on same subnet for both exchange and nbu servers, same for the other networks. only C and D are unique.

Our observation:
Backup of rate is usually very very slow, data transfer is always at 195kb/s even when all other backup jobs have been suspended.

We have looked at everything and we can't seem to see why the rate is so slow. Kindly help.

Secondly, what is the best way to make sure that VM image (snapshots) move to the staging disk via SAN . Note that the force SAN option was used and it failed.

Thanks
