I do not need a solution (just sharing information)
EMC Data Domain Firmware 5.2 Version is EOSL ( End of Support Life ) by Dec 2015 and EMC provided upgrade pack to 5.4. We have perfromed the Firmware Upgrade in Data Domain. Firmware Upgraded successfully and initiated backup to check the same. We found all the backup failed with Status 87.
Opened a call with EMC and EMC suggested to upgrade the OST plugin in the Master/Media server's from 2.3.3.4-266049 to 3.0.1.0-451885. After which Backup completed successfully.
