My question is whether or not this is the latest and greatest? Are there other permissions that have been proven to be useful to have? We periodically seem to hit some kind of reset button where SAN method restores work for awhile and then stop working. We do our backups via the SAN method which work fine so its odd that we have issues now and again with the restores over SAN. I want to ensure I have the best practices in place for vmware backups and restores.
