I need a solution
I'm a newbie to Backup Exec and I'm trying to setup Backup Exec version 15 for the 1st time.
BE is installed on a Win server 2012 vm. I have an Oracle ZFS3 NAS appliance with a Fibre channel attached Quantum Scalar i40 library. The library is not directly attached to the ESX server hosting the BE vm.
Using the configuration wizard I setup the NAS as an NDMP resource. BE shows the NAS and the attached tape drives, but not the library.
The only option under Storage configuration for Tape is an application for Hot Swaping hardware.
What do I need to do to get BE to recognize the tape library?
