Send an Email when the backup job is failed

Hello again,

is there an option that the Symantec System Revovery Management Console send an Email when a backup job is failed?

I know, that is possible when i configure the smtp option on the client. The problem here is, that i cannot send out a email, because the email gateway is not reachable from the production network.

The easierst way, when it is possible that the Symantec System Recovery Management Console is sending the email, because the email gateway is reachable from the Management Console.

Is there an option?
