Can we backup Hyper-V from Microsoft Scale Out File Server

Hello All,

The hyper-v environment is configured in such a way that the hyper-v files reside on a  Cluster Shared Volume on another SOFS server. I'm able to browse the VM's and add them to the hyper-v policy however I get an invalid snapshot error when I save the policy. The backup also fails. I was wondering if hyper-v backup is supported from SOFS shares.Please help if anyone has had experience of similar setup .
