Backup Enterprise Vault - DataDomain with BE 2014

Hi, we have two Windows 2008 R2 Servers installed with Enterprise Vault 11.0.0.1488. Server 1 is installed with EV, Server 2 is installed with SQL-Server. The EV-Stores are stored on a EMC DataDomain. Now we want to Backup the EV-Stores with Backup Exec 2014, Version 14.1 and the associated agent: Agent for Applications and Databases. Is the agent for a backup of the EV-Stores suitable?
