I've just taken over supporting IT for a small business, and 'm looking for some assistance with Back Up Exec 2012 running on SBS 2011.
The back up device is a Quikstor RDX, using 320gb cartridges.
5 day rotation (Mon-Fri), 5 cartridges.
They have an issue with the cartridges filling up over time, I understand about how the overwrite protection works with this kind of media, and there is more than ample space on each individual cartridge, however, the back up seems to me writing a new image each time and after a period of a few weeks, they fill up and the backups fail.
Is there anyway of changing the overwrite protection on these types of media so that data is overwritten once the cartridge is full?
