BESERVER.exe broken after joining CAS

I need a solution

I've tested this with 2 different servers in multiple varying ways. All servers are 2008 R2, fully patched and running BE 2014 SP2 with hotfix 227745 installed. 

THE ISSUE:

After making making servers manged to my single CAS server I am no longer able to start all serverics on the managed server. Opening backup exec fails and Even ID 57082 is logged: "The Backup Exec Server Service did not start.  An internal error (-1) occurred in object 51. ". Followed by Event ID 279: "A process crash has been detected. Faulting application: beserver.exe 14.1.1786.1093 - Faulting module: ??? ??? - Fault offset 0  - Exception code  0".

Troubleshooting:

Multiple reboots have been done over the course of troubleshooting at different times. I began by pushing out BE server from the CAS, selecting the option to make the remote server managed and applying updates after installation. I was met with the issues noted above after reboots. I then removed Backup Exec fully (check data locations and registry). I then installed as a standalone server. Then through add remove/programs I add the option to be managed. Both have the same result: beserver.exe can't start. I ran bestart.bat from prompt, the message stated that it could not find the file (beserver.exe). The file does exsist in program files. I've also attempted to use different log on credentials. Both work as a standalone server both fail as a managed server.
