I need a solution
We observe BPCD hanging and taking up 100% of CPU on SQL servers. There is nothing else taking up CPU at that time. This issue is highly sporadic and occurs once or twice every month on about 20 different clients. This problem is mostly seen on trx logs running at high frequency. These are running windows 2003 (x86 or x64). Since this problem is intermittent logs have not been enabled , but we used the proctool to capture memory dump. The dump did not indicate anything. It has been over a year now and we along with Symantec could not find the cause. If there is problem with the clients the BPCD should exit and should not stay there. Has anyone out there seen this behavior?
