Can we amend the NBU Oracle RMAN script to backup to local NFS drive>

Environment:

1 NBU server, 1 Oracle server with RMAN, 1 Dedup NAS appliance.

By default, when we configure the Oracle backup, the backup data will travel from Oracle server to NBU master, then to it attached tape or disk respectively.

We have a dedup NAS box, EMC DD or HP StoreOnce, can we will alter the RMAN script to backup the data to shared folder mounted on Oracle server, while still using NBU to control the backup/restore? 

We know that there are SAN client that do similar for SAN connected FC tape drive. How about NFS?
