San media server vs san client

Hi Folks,

  I am in a confusion whether to go with a san media servr or a san client. I already have san clints working in my environment but i have few clients(sql,exchang,ev,oracle) that have huge data size. i already went through the related docs but could not decide which is better.nbu versuin 7.6.0.2 & appliance 5230 media server.

Could you please list down the advantages and negative points of both so that i can decide whch suits me better.
