Communication between Netbackup processes

Hi Everybody,

I have below queries regarding communication between Netbackup processes.

1) Why vnted is used to communicate between nbjm & bpjobd , since nbjm is multi threaded & bpjobd is single threaded.

2) In continuation to above point, when nbjm communicates with bpdbm , why nbproxy is used & why vnetd is not used, as above ?

3) What are roles of vnetd, nbproxy & pbx ?

4) Lastly what is this CORBA architecture, tried to search but didn`t get much information ?
