Upgrade of Server 2008 R2 with BE 2014

I have recently upgraded our Backup Exec to version 2014 on our media server which is running Server 2008 R2 (external auto loader tape backup unit via SAS cable).  Everything seems to be working OK and is currently backing up multiple Server 2012 R2 Standard servers (physical and virtual).  I would like to upgrade the media server (server where BE 2014 is installed) from Server 2008 R2 to Server 2012 R2.  I can't seem to find any recommendations or procedures to do this, or if anything needs done before the Windows upgrade.  I'm wondering if it will require a full reinstall of Backup Exec 2014 or if it will work OK without any intervention post Windows upgrade.
