Can we make Windows OS as SAN media server in netbackup

Hi,

My Requirement is that i want my all backup job should go through FC (SAN).

Our VM backup is working fine it goes to SAN transport but when i am taking the backup of AIX it goes to LAN and its take time. I want my all backup job should go through FC (SAN).

Setup

Master / Media server: Win 2012 Std. R2

Netbackup Version: 7.6.0.3

Client: vCenter, AIX and Windows.

Symantec support says that you need FC Media server, but it should be on Solaris operating system. You can use windows media server for FC configuration.

Please configure FT media server and for that you cannot configure FT on windows server please refer the below guide (Page no 223) for supported OS platforms :
