I hope someone can assist to point me what do I need to check / adjust in our NBU setup. The issue is when we perform a restore using BAR GUI on the client, and choose Restore to a different location (maintain existing structure) - restores are successful but some clients do not maintain the original folder structure. In other words, the "end" files were restored to the specified location, but the original folders that contained those files were not restored.
Some info that might help you understand what's involved:
- Master (is the Media server too) server is running 7.6.0.2, configured with MSDP.
- All clients are running Windows 2008 Standard with NBU 7.6.0.2 (with the same patches applied, all of them have the same roles too, and all are remote clients backed up through WAN).
- Client side dedupe is ON with Accelerator.
